Tim Sherwood
Sherwood was a well known figure in English football during the 1990’s. After playing for Watford between 1987 and 1989 he moved on to play for Norwich City and soon became a firm favourite with the Norwich supporters. He moved to the canaries for £175,000 and played at three different positions for the club. He later on moved to Blackburn Rovers, helping the club win the league title in the year 1995. He later on moved to Tottenham, enjoying a successful spell at White Hart Lane.
Ian Butterworth
Butterworth started his professional playing career with Coventry city in the year 1981, opening four years at the club before moving on to play for Nottingham Forest in 1985. At Forest he was awarded his first England under 21 international cap and his impressive performances earned the player a move to Norwich City in 1987 for £165,000. Towards the end of the 1989 – 1990 season, he was named as the new team captain.
Robert Fleck
Fleck started his professional playing career at Partick Thistle during the 1983 – 1984 campaign before moving to Glasgow Rangers. He spent three years with the Scottish giant before moving to Carrow Road to play for Norwich City in 1987. He was a lively front runner who scored many goals for the club. He was a part of the Scottish international side during the 1990 world cup finals. He later on moved to Chelsea FC. |
