Ron Davies
Davies was considered by many to possess the best header of the ball ever in English football. After beginning his football playing career with Chester City, he moved to Norwich City in September 1963 for £35,000 and scored an impressive 30 goals during the 1963 – 1964 season. While playing at Norwich, he made his Welsh international debut in April 1964. After three season playing for Norwich City, the player moved on to play for Southampton, helping the club reach the top flight and then Portsmouth in 1973.
Terry Allcock
Allcock started his playing career with Bolton wanderers in the year 1953 before signing for Norwich City in March 1958. At Norwich he made a total of 389 appearances for the club and scored an incredible 127 goals for the club, making him the clubs second top goals goal scorer of all time behind Johnny Gavin. He spent the last five years of his career at Norwich playing as a half back. |
