1975 League Cup Final
The 1975 league cup final saw two second division sides battle it out for the trophy, Aston Villa beat Norwich 1-0 and both sides were also promoted to the top flight the following season. John Bond guided Norwich in to their second league cup final in three years; however, despite a great performance by the canaries, they could not overcome Aston Villa in the final.

Norwich City 1-0 Sunderland
League Cup Final 1985
The 1985 final was between Norwich and Sunderland, Norwich won the trophy 1-0, however both teams ended the season relegated. Len Ashurst had guided the black cats to the league cup final as they went in to Wembley staring relegation in the face. To this date, that was the only league cup final that the Rockerites have ever reached in their history.

Arsenal 2-4 Norwich City
1992 – 1993 premier league season
Norwich City surprised many individuals during the 1992 – 1993 campaign as they were in emphatic form finishing off the season in third position earning a birth in the UEFA cup. Their finest away performance of the campaign came arguably against Arsenal at Highbury. Mark Robins, who finished off the season as their top goal scorer, scored two of Norwich’s four goals as the win put them with a great chance of winning the title at that point.

In what proved to be Nigel Worthington’s last match in charge of Norwich City, Burnley put on their most convincing away performance for many years as they demolished a strong Norwich side. James O’Conner put the clarets in front on the half hour mark before Andy Gray added the second and third goals for Burnley. Norwich scored what proved to be a consolation goal through Robert Earnshaw; however, Alan Mahon sealed the emphatic win scoring with two minutes remaining to make the score line 4-1 to Burnley.

Norwich City 3-2 Queens Park Rangers
Date Played – 17th April 2006
This was probably one of the finest matches in the coca cola championship during the 2005 – 2006 season. In what looked like a QPR victory, Norwich made an astonishing comeback. Gareth Ainsworth put Rangers in front towards the end of the first half and Cook made it 2-0 to the visitors on the hour mark as the points looked heading the visitors way. After end to end action, Norwich pulled a goal back from Darren Huckerby in the 78th minute. Robert Earnshaw, a new signing from West Brom, proved to be the match winner, scoring on the 85th and 90th minutes to make the score line finish off 3-2 to the canaries.
